Here’s a weathering challenge for those who make realistic models! This Viggen is on display at the French Air and Space Museum at le Bourget airport. This was the first Viggen I have seen in the metal and, like the Buccaneer, I was taken by just how large this beast is! This one, 37808, is apparently one of ten SK 37 trainers that was converted to SK 37E, electronic warfare trainer, configuration. The Swedish splinter camouflage scheme has got to be the single most iconic paint job in aviation.
